Beth R. Wickwire




Beth Wickwire is an Associate Attorney in Braun Kendrick’s litigation practice group. Beth’s practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial/business litigation, municipal litigation, and insurance defense.


Beth is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and the University of Michigan Honors College. She has several years of experience as a litigation associate with a Detroit-based law firm, where she represented clients in state and federal courts.  Beth has also worked as a research attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals and a judicial law clerk in Michigan’s 17th Circuit Court and 26th Circuit Court.  In addition to her admission to practice in the Courts of the State of Michigan, Beth is admitted to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan.


While in law school, Beth was selected as a Senior Judge for the University of Michigan Law School’s legal research, writing, and analysis course and was awarded a scholarship for the best legal essay from the Negligence Section of the State Bar of Michigan. During law school she worked as a summer associate with a Detroit-based law firm, a Bergstrom Legal Fellow with the University of Michigan Law School’s clinical program, a legislative extern with the Children’s Defense Fund in Washington, D.C., and a volunteer with the Family Law Project.


Beth’s leadership experience includes working as the Assistant Dean for Career Development at Michigan State University College of Law and the Judicial Clerkship Advisor at the University of Michigan Law School. She has also served as the Vice-President of the Washtenaw County chapter of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan and taught legal research and writing at the community-college level.
