Biography

Kosta D. Povich is a Member Attorney in Braun Kendrick’s business and estate planning practice group. He advises individuals and businesses on a variety of matters, including entity formation, business planning, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate. Kosta also assists clients through the estate planning process, including the preparation of wills, trusts, durable powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.  Moreover, he counsels clients through probate and trust administration.

 

While in law school, Kosta received an Honors Scholarship, appeared on the Dean’s Honor List, received several Certificates of Merit for achieving the highest grade in a course, and served as Associate Editor of the Journal of Practical and Clinical Law.

 

During his studies, Kosta successfully completed externships with a number of respected private firms, as well as with Michigan State University’s Office of the General Counsel. He also served as a Judicial Clerk to the 35th District Court in Plymouth, MI.

 

Kosta is a Saginaw Township native.
